Worship at the Church & Picnic will be held June 11th, 10:15 am. Summer worship time, June 18th–September 3rd is 9 am. If the heat and humidity become excessive during the summer months, worship will be held in the air-conditioned Fellowship Hall.

The Rev. Marian P. Shearer retired in March 2015 after 14 years as associate conference minister for the New York Conference, United Church of Christ. She previously served churches in Philadelphia, PA, and Albany and Hilton, NY, after graduating from Colgate Rochester/Crozer in 1977. She and her husband Jim moved to Exeter to be near the grandchildren and share with them their astronomy hobby. Marian is also president of the International Association of Women Ministers, and will be traveling to Cuba for the IAWM International Assembly in April. Thank you Rev. The “Retreat Team” will present their program on Sunday, February 5, during the church service. The program will include a photo show, a summary of retreat activities and what each member grained from attending.
We will be installing our new Elders and Deacons on Sunday, January 29, during our 10:15 worship service. Please be in prayer for all our Elders and Deacons. The new Elders are: Keith Leinbach and Ethel DeMatteo-Beck. The new Deacons are: Fernando Garcia, Kathy Landis, Ann Oswald and Nancy O’Neil.
A meeting of August retreat participants will be held Tuesday, January 10, 7 pm. Please bring your prepared short statement about how you benefited/learned from experiencing the retreat. We will go over our program planned for January 15 worship service. Those who are preparing the photos/slides may also want to bring them.

When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

On Christmas Day, at our 10:15 am worship service, we will celebrate Jesus’ birth with Holy Communion . We hope to see you there!
St. Paul’s will be worshipping at the Kutztown Folk Festival, Sunday, July 10th, at 10:30 AM. Pastor Jack will be preaching. Be sure to pick up an Entrance Coupon (1 per person) which allows you to enter the fairgrounds at the Main Gate for $5.00 on July 10th. If you leave before noon your entrance fee will be returned to you. We will return to our regular 9:00 AM summer worship on Sunday, July 17th.
