What every community member should know about SUDs. Substance Use Disorder is a devastating disease that indiscriminately permeates our society, from the homeless to the wealthy. A panel of Reading professionals along with speaker Reagan Wetherill, PHD, LCP, will be available to discuss resources and answer questions. It’s time for the Kutztown Community Choir annual spring choral concert! The concert will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 W Main Street, Kutztown, PA on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 7 pm. The theme of this year’s program, Sailing Though Spring, is a delightful journey across musical genres. A wide selection of memorable music, including arrangements of “Cry Me a River” and John Lennon’s “Imagine”, a Broadway medley, and several well-loved American folk songs, will be featured. Michael Barron will be conducting the choir. And we are happy to welcome Christopher Sperat as the choir’s accompanist this year.
There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be received for the benefit of the choir’s music fund. Guaranteed to have everyone humming along and to lift your spirits—come celebrate the arrival of warm weather with an evening filled with memorable music!
