Walk with us and join us in prayer May 13, 9 am. We are meeting in the parking lot of Kutztown High School. We are supporting Kutztown Strong’s mission to combat substance abuse for the well-being of the Kutztown community. Our group will be walking a “prayer circle” around the schools.
We will be having a Mission Dinner open to members and the community on Wednesday, January 31, 5–6 pm. The meal is free of charge. Dessert donations are needed. Come and bring a friend!
The Kutztown Relay Life for the American Cancer Society is at Kutztown University, June 2–3. The theme this year is School Days! Please visit with us at our campsite and support us financially online at our Angels for Hope secure donations webpage.
A Tag Sale to benefit our Angels of Hope team for the Relay for Life will be held at St. Paul’s May 20, 8 am–2 pm.

Items will also be received each Sunday morning. Place in the stairway before church throughout the month of April & May until the date of the sale. Please consider bringing a box of donated items to help raise funds for our Relay for Life Team (NO CLOTHING PLEASE!) All items that are not sold Saturday will be available during Fellowship Hour, May 21, at ½ price; the remainder will be given to a charitable organization. If you are unable to carry items or bring them in yourself, please call Lisa Rarick to schedule a pick up @ 610-683-6851.
This course will be held at St. Paul’s on September 7, 20 and 21. There will be more information next week on registration and the fee. There is a discount for AAA members and Veterans.
What every community member should know about SUDs. Substance Use Disorder is a devastating disease that indiscriminately permeates our society, from the homeless to the wealthy. A panel of Reading professionals along with speaker Reagan Wetherill, PHD, LCP, will be available to discuss resources and answer questions. The Kutztown Folk Festival, July 1–9, is seeking volunteers to help greet visitors, hand out the daily program and answer questions. Please contact Bev Godshall, 610.683.6052, or the Festival Office, 610.683.1597, for more information.
