The Missions Committee will be hosting a dinner for Berks Women in Crisis in Reading on Monday, April 11th. Donations of items are needed to fulfill the planned menu. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by Fellowship Hall. Also requested are donations of shampoo, conditioner and deodorant. Many of the women and children served by Berks Women in Crisis need to leave their homes quickly with only the clothes on their backs. A collection box for these items is in the church hallway. All food and toiletry items are due by Sunday, April 10th. Please consider supporting this worthwhile cause.
A special meeting of all elders will be held Monday, April 4 at 7:00 pm to review the By-Laws. Your attendance is requested. Please contact Debbie Schaeffer with any questions.

Our annual luncheon to celebrate the women in our church will be held Sunday, March 6th, following worship. Please let us know you will be attending by signing the sheet in the hallway. Entrees are chicken or lasagna. Entertainment presentation will be a Pennsylvania Dutch comedy skit entitled “Purseonality.”
On March 6th we will be receiving donations for OGHS. Our financial gifts to this special offering makes the love of Christ real for individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict, or severe economic hardship. Projects are underway in over 100 countries. These funds provide disaster relief, refugee assistance, developmental aid and more. The need is great. Please prayerfully consider giving to this important mission.
Every Wednesday evening for five successive weeks, February 17 & 24 and March 2, 9 and 16, we will gather in Fellowship Hall from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for an exceptional meal and a brief time of Lenten study and devotions. These gatherings are open to everyone and free of charge (a free-will offering basket will be available).
Most of us have grown up hearing the overused phrase, “Jesus is the answer.” This year’s Lenten study and devotional time will ask us to consider, “What if Jesus is the question?” Join us as we learn that questions do matter, especially when Jesus is the one asking them.
