Our annual luncheon to celebrate the women in our church will be held Sunday, March 6th, following worship. Please let us know you will be attending by signing the sheet in the hallway. Entrees are chicken or lasagna. Entertainment presentation will be a Pennsylvania Dutch comedy skit entitled “Purseonality.”
One Great Hour of Sharing
On March 6th we will be receiving donations for OGHS. Our financial gifts to this special offering makes the love of Christ real for individuals and communities around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict, or severe economic hardship. Projects are underway in over 100 countries. These funds provide disaster relief, refugee assistance, developmental aid and more. The need is great. Please prayerfully consider giving to this important mission.
Lenten Dinner and Devotions
Every Wednesday evening for five successive weeks, February 17 & 24 and March 2, 9 and 16, we will gather in Fellowship Hall from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for an exceptional meal and a brief time of Lenten study and devotions. These gatherings are open to everyone and free of charge (a free-will offering basket will be available).
Most of us have grown up hearing the overused phrase, “Jesus is the answer.” This year’s Lenten study and devotional time will ask us to consider, “What if Jesus is the question?” Join us as we learn that questions do matter, especially when Jesus is the one asking them.
